Ed Simpson is nuclear physicist at the Australian National University, researching nuclear collisions and their application to new element creation, particle-beam cancer therapy, and space radiation. He is a former Australian Science Policy Fellow, having worked on science policy at the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment, and the Department of Education, Skills and Employment.
